MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Morgan Freeman was discharged Thursday from a Tennessee hospital after the Oscar-winning actor was treated for broken bones and other injuries sustained in a weekend car crash in Mississippi.

Kathy Stringer, a spokeswoman for the Regional Medical Center, said Freeman was discharged but gave no other details.

The 71-year-old actor was hospitalized after the accident Sunday left him with a broken arm, broken elbow and shoulder damage.

PARIS (AP) — Angelina Jolie has left the building. Oh, and so have the twins. Before dawn Saturday, the Hollywood superstar and her newborn twins left the French Riviera hospital where she gave birth a week ago, the hospital said in a statement.

“The mother and her babies are doing very well,” reported the Fondation Lenval hospital, located in the southern Mediterranean city of Nice.

NICE, France — Many well-wishers continue to send regards to Angelina Jolie now that she has become a mom again.

But, the brother of the former “Lara Croft” star decided to make the trek to France to visit his sister.

James Haven dropped by the Lenval Hospital in southern France to check on Angelina and to meet his new niece and nephew, Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon.

PARIS (AP) — The hospital where Angelina Jolie will give birth says it has covered the windows of her room with a special material to prevent paparazzi from taking pictures of the actress and her partner, Brad Pitt.

The Lenval hospital in Nice in southern France said Wednesday that photos that claim to show Jolie and Pitt in her room are fakes that have been manipulated or show other patients.

The seafront Lenval hospital in Nice in the south of France said Tuesday that Angelina Jolie had checked in at its Santa Maria maternity clinic to be kept under doctors’ surveillance and get some rest before she gives birth.
