LOS ANGELES (AP) — The first time out, Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio’s romance went down with the ship.
Now the “Titanic” stars reunite for another love affair, and this one’s a train wreck.
Winslet and DiCaprio attended a press screening Saturday for “Revolutionary Road,” their dark domestic drama that should put them back in the heart of the upcoming Academy Awards season.

Angelina Jolie told NBC’s “Today Show” anchor Matt Lauer that she and husband Brad Pitt would very much like to add children to their growing family and are already planning for another adoption.
When asked whether Jolie had something specific in mind for a new adoption, she told Lauer simply, “yeah.”

‘40-Year-Old Virgin’ actor faces new charges

VISTA, Calif. (AP) — Prosecutors have brought additional charges against Hollywood actor accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend 20 times.
Shelley Malil, 43, who played a supporting role in “The 40-Year-Old Virgin,” was charged Friday with residential burglary and assault with a deadly weapon for allegedly attacking a man who with Malil’s ex-girlfriend, Kendra Beebe, on Aug. 10.
Prosecutors say that was the day Malil stabbed Beebe with two knives while chasing her in and around her San Marcos home as her two children slept.

Michael Moore to release new film online for free

NEW YORK (AP) — Inspired by Neil Young and Radiohead, Michael Moore will release his new film online and for free.
The film, “Slacker Uprising,” follows Moore’s 62-city tour during the 2004 election to rally young voters. It will be available for three weeks as a free download to North American residents, beginning Sept. 23. An official announcement of the film is planned for Friday.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — “The Dark Knight” continues to obliterate box office records, crossing the $300 million mark in just 10 days.
The epic Batman saga grossed $75.6 million in its second weekend in theaters, pushing its domestic total to $314,245,000, Warner Bros. head of distribution Dan Fellman said Sunday.
That surpasses the record set in 2006 by “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest,” which took 16 days to make $300 million.
