ET: Brad Pitt To Take On ‘The Odyssey’

The Iliad worked out fine for Brad Pitt, so why not ‘The Odyssey?’ Brad played Achilles in ‘Troy,’ and now he may star as Odysseus in a modern adaptation of the epic Homer poem, according to Variety. So modern, in fact, that it will take place in outer space.

Jolie says Pitt changed her mind about pregnancy

NEW YORK (AP) — Angelina Jolie, an advocate of adoption, credits partner Brad Pitt with her decision to have biological children.

In an interview with W magazine, Jolie says: “One of the life-changing things that he did, one of many, is that I was absolutely never going to get pregnant. I never felt that it was the right thing to do.”

She says she changed her mind while watching Pitt bond with adopted children Maddox and Zahara.

Brad Pitt donates money to support gay marriage

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Brad Pitt has donated $100,000 to fight California’s November ballot initiative that would overturn the state Supreme Court decision legalizing same-sex marriage.

It’s the first time voters will be asked to ban same-sex marriage in a state where gay couples already have won the right to wed. Same-sex marriage is legal in Massachusetts and California.

TORONTO (AP) — Movies featuring Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Kate Beckinsale, Edward Norton and Colin Farrell and a documentary about Paris Hilton have joined the lineup for the Toronto International Film Festival.

Brad Pitt gets drafted by Tarantino

Brad Pitt has closed his deal to star in “Inglorious Bastards,” the WWII drama that Quentin Tarantino will direct for the Weinstein Co. and Universal.

Additionally, Nastassja Kinski is in early talks to play one of the sole female roles in the film. Tarantino casting the German-born actress jibes with his habit of resuscitating dormant careers. Jolie-Pitt Foundation donates $1 mil to Iraqi kids

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s love for children is by no means limited to their own: The couple has donated $1 million to help kids affected by the war in Iraq, the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict announced Wednesday.
